With its relaxing environment and variety of workshops on offer, guests may decide to make Evergreen Guesthouse the start and end point of their trip.

However, Evergreen is also the perfect base for exploring the surrounding region. Just a few of these places of interest are listed below. Suren and Jonathan would be delighted to provide visitors with personal recommendations as well.

Paris – direct trains to the French capital depart from nearby Vernon-Giverny station every hour and take approximately 50 minutes.

Vernon – a 10-minute drive from Evergreen on the banks of the River Seine, this small historic town full of pretty half-timber houses is a great spot for daytime sightseeing including Chateau de Bizy and the Musée Alphonse-Georges Poulain.

Rouen – once the second largest city in France after Paris, Rouen is a 50-minute drive from Evergreen and home to the most impressive gothic-style Notre Dame Cathedral painted by Monet.

Giverny – only a 15-minute drive from Evergreen, Giverny is most well-known for Claude Monet’s House and Gardens

Chateau de Bizy – Supposedly the ‘Versailles of Normandy’, this grand chateau and ex-royal residence sits on the outskirts of Vernon featuring extensive grounds, charming sculptures and fountains.
